CXI: Holidays, Engagements, Weddings and Invites!

There’s something about the holidays that always puts me in the mood for love, weddings and snuggles! No, this is not a joke, I mean just take a look at my Pinterest and you’ll see for yourself.

BUT, you can’t get to the wedding without The Engagement and The Invites, and that’s where I’d look to Basic Invite for a little assistance (and by ‘a little’ I mean all of the assistance).

If you’re in the market for cute engagement party shower invitations or engagement announcement cards, then Basic Invite is your one stop shop!

They have a wide range of designs for numerous occasions. They offer a free website geared towards your event and, what shocked me most, they even have envelopes in ranging colors which match whatever color scheme your invites end up having.

But, really, let’s take this in steps so that I miss as little as possible:

FOR THE ENGAGEMENT

The Basic Invite provides a wide range of custom designs, some of which include their popular raised and flat foil options. You’re able to sample your invite and envelope before committing to a purchase because, let’s be real, committing to marriage is hard enough! Basic Invite is taking out the guess work and allowing you to see the finished product before you commit to it.

THE DESIGNS

The designs range from, what would be perfect for me, a more simplistic invite, to extravagant and detail-oriented invites with photographs of the to-be-weds front and center. 😍

If I were to choose my perfect engagement party invite, then I’d definitely go with the Black Tie Foil Engagement invite. It’s right up my alley in terms of simplicity. And, these are basically the colors that I’d want my wedding (if you can’t already tell from my Pinterest board).

I also chose a velvet finish for the style of paper and I’d go with either a bracket shape or the ticket shape to finish off my invite.

Finally, because one of the best parts, to me, of this process is choosing an envelope color, then my envelopes would have to be black with either white or rose gold/champagne writing!

With this invite, wouldn’t you want to come to my wedding? Of course you would!

AS FAR AS THE OPTIONS

Honestly, there are so many options to choose from that I’d find it odd if you can’t find the perfect match for your wedding and engagement needs.

The invites are highly customizable from the wording, the color scheme, the paper texture and finish, to the shape of the paper and style of text. Basic Invite even provides tips regarding what information should be placed on each invite AND they offer mailing services to your own personally created mailing list!

They house over 900 wedding sets to include stationery, save the dates, menus, enclosure cards and matching ‘thank you’ cards.

With Basic Invite, there’s honestly not much leftover for you to do. Leave it in the hands of the experts and you won’t regret the end result at all.

BEFORE I CLOSE…

I cannot end this post without mentioning the fact that they offer a FREE and fully customizable website that is user-friendly and already comes mobile-ready.

I, for one, know the struggles of creating a website and I know the costs and difficulty with coding and creating mobile-ready pages (although, thanks to Squarespace my worries are few).

Basic Invite, once again, saves the day by taking all of these struggles away! They offer a very easy-to-use site option that you can customize to match your wedding and engagement invites. These sites are able to house maps for directions, photographs of the bride-and-groom-to-be, and details about the specifics of the wedding. I think that this is yet another brilliant add-on with your overall Basic Invite purchase.

Basic Invite is offering 15% off of your purchase until the end of December with code: 15FF51

And if you fancy following them on any social networking site, then you can find them @basicinvite, or by clicking any of the boxes below.

Alright, that’s enough about love and marriage for me!

Until next time!
