My Favorite Pens!

Writing has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started taking this passion seriously after college and before law school. I thought that, during my gap year, I could work full-time (you know, to experience it) and write my first full manuscript. What started out on paper made it’s way to my desktop computer at some point, but all of my outlines and initial chapters start with a pen and a notepad!

As the years have gone on, I’ve become increasingly more serious about the writing instruments and tools that I use to create whatever it is that I’m creating whether the world’ll see it or not.

I’ve showcased my Mont Blanc Meisterstück LeGrand Rollerball which is a rollerball pen with the following dimensions: 5.74 0.61 inches and a physical weight of 40.57 g. Now, when you get a normal rollerball from Mont Blanc, what you’ll get is a Classique pen that’s about 136.99mm long. When you get a LeGrand, like the one pictured here, you’ll get a pen that’s about 145.33mm long.
Overtime, I’ve learned that I either love a bulky and girthy pen or I love a slim and trim pen. I generally never look for pens that are shorter because they’re super uncomfortable to hold/grip.

The Meisterstuck LeGrand is definitely the right size for my writing needs and will continue to be a pen that I purchase. Check out my full review and excitement about my limited edition 20th Anniversary Naruto LeGrand Rollerball here. These pens range from $550-$38,000.

Another pen that is now my absolute favorite is my Wave Fountain Pen from Papier.

This pen retails for $20.00 and is available in two color options — the one pictured and gold. It comes with an automatic ink capsule instead of the normal refill method for fountain pens for easier use. And, you’re able to buy refills directly from the website. Again, thisis easily my new favortie pen and you won’t catch me without it!

If you want an easy-to-find, fast shipping pen then this Pentel Energel Alloy Retractable Pen is the pen for you! I also take it up a notch by adding blue 1.0mm ink to the pen instead of the finer tip.

This pen retails for about $9.00 and is available here.

Again, writing is and will always be an outlet for me. Whether I’m journaling, planning, drafting a manuscript or editing a screenplay, writing is something that’s stuck with me for the long haul, so I might as well make the experience a pleasant one.

If you weren’t already into fancy writing instruments and fun pens, then hopefully you are now.

Happy writing,
Bree
